Your data is yours. SeasonOpens uses it only to operate the service you asked for — watches, alerts, and your account. We do not sell it. We do not share it with anyone so they can market to you or build a list.

The public marketing site can be used without creating an account. Visiting the site creates ordinary technical logs (such as IP address, browser, and pages requested) so the site can load and stay secure.

We will collect the email address you provide to create an account and to send watch alerts you requested. SMS will require a phone number and documented opt-in before any text is sent. We do not collect or store your wildlife-agency password — you apply on the official site yourself.

We use contact details to deliver alerts and account messages you asked for, to operate and secure the service, and to prevent abuse. That is the whole list.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent, trade, or give your email, phone number, watches, or other account data to advertisers, data brokers, or other companies for their own use.

Optional trip links we may show after an alert are just links. We do not send your name, email, or phone to those businesses unless you choose to contact them yourself.

We may disclose information if required by law. We will not treat a marketing partnership as a legal requirement.

Companies we hire to host the site or, later, to send an email or text you requested, may process only what they need to do that job. They do not get a customer list, and they may not use SeasonOpens data for their own advertising or products.

Technical logs are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the service. Account and watch data will be retained while your account is active and deleted or anonymized when you close it, except where we must keep records.

You can stop using the site at any time. Email preferences, SMS controls, and account deletion will be available as those features ship.

SeasonOpens is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13.

We will update this page as the product adds accounts, payments, and messaging. The date at the top is the current version. We will not use a policy change to start selling or sharing personal information.
